The system combines a highly efficient, direct-injected V-6 engine with an all-new, Acura-designed, 7-speed dual clutch transmission with built-in electric motor and an electrically powered variant of Acura's highly regarded torque-vectoring Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD).

Regardless of driven wheels, both RLX models start with a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 310 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel-drive model adds a pair of electric motors at the rear of the car to power the rear wheels exclusively, which brings total output up to 370 horsepower while also improving fuel economy.


The system provides all-wheel-drive traction and also works as a torque vectoring system by instantaneously transfering torque between the electrified wheels for improved traction. Uniquely, the motors can provide positive or negative torque automatically to create what Acura calls an "on-the-rails" feel. The setup eliminates the need for a more complex differential to achieve the same handling-improving effect.

Ce n'est pas un système moteur / roue comme celui développé par Hydro-Québec dans le temps, c'est un peu plus dans le genre de ce qu'il y a sur la Tesla S.

2 moteurs électriques qui sont reliés aux roues.
C'est mieux comme ça, le moins de "unsprung weight" tu as, mieux c'est.

Injection directe, AWD par motorisation électrique, transmission double clutch, dis-moi pas qu'Honda sont en train de se réveiller !!!

malheureusement ils se sont endormis coté design. et le prix de cette rlx va etre surement pas loin des 80 000$
